Hello Mani, another good post. Obesity is a major problem especially in the Western nations. There seems to be an excess of rich and unhealthy foods, and too little of healthy, whole and affordable foods. Some are becoming more sedentary because of ease of transportation and less exercise. Unhealthy life-style is fostered and it goes on and on. Then there’s the pharmaceutical drugs issues and this upsets the body’s chemicals and overweight is among the many negative results. This again is linked to your article on what is healthy to eat and what is not.

Was I in that situation of needing to loose weight, I would select the healthy ingredients from the GM diet and on a continuous daily basis cut out the unhealthy things from my diet and aim to loose weight gradually rather than suddenly only to put it back on once a diet plan is completed. That must be discouraging.

      Hello EJ,

Thanks for the feedback. Yes. You are absolutely right. Anything rapid has it’s own side effects. Especially when it comes to weight loss, you have to be more careful and try to lose not more than 2 pounds in a week. Otherwise, you put your body under too much stress and in turn you get in to some unwanted troubles. Take care.

      Regards,
